Catherine Margaret (Cathy) Parks
The death of Catherine Margaret (Cathy) Parks wife of Kerry Parks of
Miramichi, NB , occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on
Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the age of 50. Born in Chatham NB, Cathy
was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Louise (Matchett) Waye.
Cathy was self-employed as a barber and owned Waye-A-Head Barber Shop and attended St.Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Newcastle, NB
Cathy is survived by two sisters: Helena Waye (Billy Riley) of Miramichi and Jennifer Sullivan (George) of Miramichi, NB and four brothers: Melvin (Peggy) of Miramichi,NB Michael (Brenda) of Miramichi, NB,Wendell (Sandra) of Sunny Corner, NB and Larry of Miramichi, NB and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by one brother Francis (Frank) and her grandparents Pierce and Mary Matchett and Melvin and Molly Waye.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Sunday, August 12, 2007 from 7-9 PM and Monday, August 13, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at
2 PM with Father Tom Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in the Derby United Church, Millerton, NB.
In Cathy’s memory a donation may be made to the Cancer Society, St. Mary’s Memorial Fund or Derby United Church Memorial Fund.
