Evelyn Ann Goggin

Goggin, Evelyn Ann, 81, formerly of Sussex Corner, passed away at the Jordan Lifecare Centre on July 2, 2010. Born in Hillside, she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Ada (Martin) Bannister. Evelyn is survived by her only son, Fred Goggin of Sussex; as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Austin Goggin in March, 2009; her sisters: Dorothy & Marion; her brothers: Sherman, Stuart and Vaughn. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Jordan Lifecare Centre for the outstanding care Evelyn received while she was there. There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held on Monday July 5, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Old Elgin Cemetery with Pastor James Hammond presiding.
